These eight exclusive "Urban Rowhomes" are registered 4 Star BuiltGreen™, which requires high quality resource-efficient features. Great Northern Land Company (GNLC) ensures that the following Built Green guidelines are adhered to by careful attention to quality craftsmanship.

The exterior of this community on the corner of Densmore Ave. N and N. 80th Street has been landscaped with drought tolerant landscaping and has no grass yet still looks lush and green.

GNLC used pervious pavers for the common drive, which allows storm water runoff to seep into the ground, reducing the impact on local aquatic systems. One major requirement for 4 Star Built Green is the practice of jobsite waste prevention. We partner with a recycling company who takes 100% of our jobsite materials to another company who recycle 75-85% of the materials.

GNLC also builds on an in-fill city lot which takes advantage of existing infrastructure. This important feature increases urban density and creates lasting well-designed neighborhoods in the heart of our community.

Some unique interior features which are also Built Green include a heating system which is radiant in-floor heat, a very energy efficient option. We use no carpet and instead only use hardwood, tile, and cork for flooring options. Our siding material is James Hardie which is a 50 year product, built to last to further reduce waste.

A third party verifies that we have met these stringent requirements and have utilized certain green materials by taking pictures of the construction progress and conducting various tests.
