What makes it Green:
Cranberry Ridge, New England's Premier Platinum LEED home, represents one of four homes in the nation to receive the highest level of certification for "Green" building standards. This home is a graceful four-bedroom, two- and one-half-bath residence on 2.62 acres in the Wolfe Neck area of Freeport, Maine. Features include solar power, radiant heat, local birch, granite and slate and custom millwork. The site was chosen for environmentally and socially responsible land development; no construction within 100ft.of water, yet minutes to the beautiful coastal waters of Maine. Materials used were environmentally preferred; and local when available: - FSC lumber
- Maine granite
- Post consumer recycled glass ceramic tiles
- Drywall made with post consumer recycled content
- Tebisa plumbing fixtures resulting in 40% reduction in usage
